A fun evening of waterfalls, outfit changes, and bold portraits with my favorite travel agent partner
There’s something magical about golden hour at Universal Orlando Resort – especially when you’re shooting with someone who lives and breathes the destination every single day.
Meet Karli – the energetic, knowledgeable, and seriously fun Universal Orlando travel agent behind @ohanatravelmom. When she was in town for Epic Universe’s one-year anniversary celebrations, we teamed up for a branding photoshoot that turned into one of my favorite sessions of the year.
As a Universal Orlando Photographer who specializes in capturing real, bold, and vibrant moments, I was thrilled to create fresh content that shows off both Karli’s personality and the stunning resorts she helps families experience.
The Session: Waterfalls, Outfit Changes & Pure Joy
We met at Loews Sapphire Falls Resort just as the late afternoon light started to turn golden. If you’ve never been, this Caribbean-inspired resort is pure eye candy – cascading blue waterfalls, lush tropical plants, stone archways, and that signature turquoise-and-coral color palette that photographs like a dream.
Karli came ready to work – and play. We spent the evening strolling the grounds, finding every gorgeous nook and cranny, and laughing our way through the session. She absolutely crushed it.
Three full outfit changes later, we had a whole range of looks: polished travel-agent professional, fun and casual for social media, and bold statement pieces that pop against the tropical scenery.
We even snuck over to Universal’s Aventura Hotel briefly for a totally different vibe — modern, colorful, and geometric — giving her branding gallery even more variety.
